Thailand, o país dos sorrisos :)

It's been only a week, but I've seen more in these few days than in many years of my life.
Thailand is a perfect place to be. Everything so far is amazing, but I’m going to start from the beginning.
We started getting to know Bangkok, the first impression was that it was a really hot place and it was in a lot of trouble because of the red shirts protests.
However on Monday, Vander and I have got to look around the city and we saw a different side of this event.
In general Thailand is populated by this friendly, honest and good people. So, even if they are protesting that keep their line. We’ve been even where the shoots that killed 21 people happened and even there I felt really safe. The protestants were everywhere: close to the Golden Temple, Democracy Monument and Khao San Road and still nothing to worry about.
On Tuesday, was the New Year’s Water festival celebration, close to Lumpini Park, so we bought water guns and played with it. It was like being in the Brazilian’s carnival, everybody was playing in peace. I had a really fun afternoon. And at night we went to this night club called Inch what was also good, but I was tired and went back home early :)
The last day in Bangkok we did the tourist stuff, The reclining Buddha and the Temple of Dawn. Later that day we caught the bus to our next destination: Koh Tao.
On the 15th of April, after many hours waiting for the bus and then many hours in the bus and then many hours on a boat, we finally got in Koh Tao. Everything is sooo beautiful, the water of the sea blue transparent and warm. This day we would start our diving course, hours learning the theory of diving.
Next day, 16th, diving in the swimming pool..I got dehydrated from it…result terrible headache :P
Following day finally ocean diving...OMG, it was just unbelievably amazing...Diving rocks!!
And finally today, 18th of April of 2010, diving course completed!! Final exam passed...and two more amazing dives...Sail Rock and South West Pinnacle…
